I found the last Golden Ticket!!

Hey Guys!!

I wanted to show you another nail polish that I bought recently that I love! It's the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Golden Ticket!

It's so pretty in any light but what I found was that it is a tad sheer with just one coat so for these photos I applied three coats! Having said that though I thought that one coat was actually pretty aswell! I think that this is a grown up glitter, if that makes any sense, and what I mean by that is that if you're unlike me and you want to have pretty nails but they're not to in your face then this is perfect! I suppose a better word would be that it is a subtle glitter because of the tone of it! I love the fact that it's subtle because it's a nice change from something so bold!!

I hope you all like this!!

'Off with their heads!!'

Hey guys!!

The first design of this series is the Queen of Hearts Crown. It is very simple indeed so I decided to dust sone gold glitter over the crown to make it a tad more interesting!

Hope You All Like It!

What I actually did while I took a break!!

I know I previously said that I didn't really do anything worth posting during that break but I kind of did!
The first one I did was a full set of press on nails that I painted for a friend for Christmas, I also did another set for her mum too which were red glitter and gold polka dots which looked lovely but I forgot to photograph them and then I also painted a set for another friend which had a gold base and black leopard print which looked so nice too but again I didn't photograph them!! I also know that the quality of the photo is rubbish but it was only ever taken to show my friend what she was getting and to see if they were ok for her and they had everything she asked for!

Then the next design was just a spur of the moment decision. I went to the pub with my big sister and her Fiance to watch the Old Firm game on the 28th of December and I needed to do my nails. I'm pretty sure that no one will know what the Old Firm is so I shall explain! Ha! I'm from Glasgow and the football team that I support is Celtic! Their rival team from Glasgow is Rangers and both teams are collectively known as the Old firm so in essence an Old Firm game is simply a Derby game against two rivla teams! Anyway! Celtics top is green and white hoops and so I used these colours in my design and although I didn't use stripes which probably would have been better I chose to do leopard print with a green tip and white base so they went well with the pub we went to and Celtic colours too!

I really do hope that you all like this, and I know that you might be getting a bit frustrated that I've posted so much leopard print this past while but I just love it so much and it is seriously my favourite design to do. But out of fairness and my love of you guys I will try my hardest to stop posting so much leopard print stuff in future! I promise!! Ha!

Something Different for Christmas!?

I know this isn't my usual type of post but I really want to start doing my nails in all sorts of glorious Christmassy designs but I've been told that I'm mad for wanting to do that so soon! Which I don't see how this is, I get my immense love for Christmas from my big sister who has an infectious obsession with the season! and my family really have a great excuse with the second name we have! (It's Yuile, like Yule! I love it!) Anyway, I will start my Christmas designs closer to the time (probably next week! haha!) but until then I thought I'd branch out slightly by showing the colours that I love using at Christmas! These all really remind me of the best time of the year!
I wear glitter every season, I have a problem when people tell me that certain designs, colours or types of nail polish should be reserved for only one time of year and so I don't do that! but I do agree that glitters and more shimmery nail polishes look really pretty and lovely in Winter!

I will list the names and where I got these if I'm asked to do so, but unfortunately some were from gift sets and may not be available any more, and the turquoise glitter at the top of the post was a present from my sister  from when she went on holiday to Mexico! Sorry guys! However I'm sure you'll be able to find similar or even the same polishes this Christmas in similar sets that get released by the same company!

Even More Leopard Print!!

The top photo is what I did on my friends nails last night! I think the colours she chose are so Christmasy! This has made me so excited for Christmas so I decided to draw up some things that I wanted to do on my nails during Christmas time! I CAN'T WAIT!!
The other photos are my own nails! This past wee while I've been really liking leopard print and I'm so, so happy that I actually tried it and it worked out! The base, painted on by a friend, is Models Own glitter in Juicy Jules, which just happens to be one of my favourite glitters! I love the colourful holographic pieces that run through it! But I was worried that because the glitter is quite chunky and so leaves a bumpy texture to my nails which would mean that the leopard print would run together. So I had to make sure that the lines were thin or far away enough so that they didn't run together! Because when I practised this, the lines running together was such a big problem! The bottom photo is intentionally blurry so I could show just how pretty this glitter is!

Colourful, Glittery Bursts!

The first picture is the design that I decided to wear to my sisters engagement party this weekend! But I loved the thumb design so much that I decided to do the exact same on all of my nails, using different colours in a sort of gradient!

Red Glitter Tips!

I just did these when I was bored one night!
