Tie Dye Leopards!!

Hi Guys!!

I've just realise that I've went straight back into my leopard print obsession and I will try my hardest to get out of this rut!
But these are my favourite nails to date I think just because they are so colourful and Summery!
The process for doing the backgroud was that I chose 4 different colours for each nail and sponged then on to make a blended mix of awesome colourfulness and I did this on my best friends nails and I had to copy it because I was so jealous that I had done this on her nails and not my own! Haha! But I added Leopard Print on top and now that she has seen this she wants this done too!

I hope you all like these!!

A beetlejuiced Leopard?!

Hey!!

This design was done by using my Models Own Beetlejuice nail polish (which I have a review on) used for the print itself on  a background of coral and I think that the colours go brilliantly!

Realistic vs Colourful!

Hey Guys!!

I have been doing leopard print nails for a while now and this design has become one of my favourites but I realised that I have always chosen really bright colours! And so I decided that I would do a more realistic colour choice to see if I liked it or not. And after I painted it I decided that I really like it (even though it isn't fully realistic because I sponged on some gold to make it a bit less flat! Ha!)
However because I love colour so much I do prefer mosr colourful leopard prints but I can appreciate the more realistic colour choice because it looks a lot more grown up and understated compared to the bright colours!

What do you think? Do you prefer the more colourful colour choices or the more realistic ones?

Gradient Leopard Print!!

Hey Guys!
I wanted to apply the gradient thing onto one of my favourite designs and I think it turned out really well! I will be wearing this lots nad lots this Summer but changing the colours!
I only tried this out with pinks and blues but I'm interested to see what it would look like in other colours and I'll be sure to upload photos of other colours when I do them!

I Hope you all like this!!

Zebra Print!!

I finally decided to suck it up and give zebra print a try! I know it's not the best but I actually quite like it and I found that for me using the brushes that come with a nail art pen are so much more affective as opposed to using a small brush! So I'll probably update this in the very near future to show the difference between the two. I found that using a longer brush give a better and thinner tip to the stripe which I think look a lot more realistic! So nw hopefully when someone asks me to do a zebra print for them then I won't shy away from it!

Hope you like it!!

Even More Leopard Print!!

I wanted to upload these before I started my Christmas designs tomorrow! If you haven't guessed by now I'm really enjoying leopard print nails! Haha! I did these for my best friend at the weekend. I really love the colours together I think they work so well because they are just simple monochrome and I also like the cross on the ring finger! Hope you like too!

Simple and Colourful!

As per usual I was having such a hard time deciding what I wanted to do on my nails but I've found that when this happens I tend try a few different things. This time I started with matte black nails but they chipped after a day, that's what doing a lab in uni will do to you though! Ha! Then I decided to paint my nails red and add a red glitter and then a silver glitter and I really liked how they looked and sparkled but I smudged them like the silly goose I am! So I then thought that I'd get my act together and do another simple, not very time consuming design. And this is what I decided to do. And I know that the colours aren't very Wintry but I love it so I'm not really fussed! I think these turned out really quite well especially considering that I had no idea of what I wanted to do when I started!

Even More Leopard Print!!

The top photo is what I did on my friends nails last night! I think the colours she chose are so Christmasy! This has made me so excited for Christmas so I decided to draw up some things that I wanted to do on my nails during Christmas time! I CAN'T WAIT!!
The other photos are my own nails! This past wee while I've been really liking leopard print and I'm so, so happy that I actually tried it and it worked out! The base, painted on by a friend, is Models Own glitter in Juicy Jules, which just happens to be one of my favourite glitters! I love the colourful holographic pieces that run through it! But I was worried that because the glitter is quite chunky and so leaves a bumpy texture to my nails which would mean that the leopard print would run together. So I had to make sure that the lines were thin or far away enough so that they didn't run together! Because when I practised this, the lines running together was such a big problem! The bottom photo is intentionally blurry so I could show just how pretty this glitter is!

Leopard Print!

I've always wanted to be able to do these ever since I started to follow Wah-Nails and, not to toot my own horn but I really can't believe that I managed to do these! I Practised these all day yesterday (a bit sad I know! :P)  and I couldn't wait to try them!
